Our employees are offered supplemental
training including blueprint reading, 40 hour Hazardous
Materials training (HAZMAT) and 10 hours of continuing
education credits each year. We maintain an excellent
safety record.
Safety Pays Program:
ACME implemented
the “Safety Pays” program in 1998 which rewards
employees for 12 months of continuous performance
without accident of safety infraction. “Safety
Pays” has resulted in a 41% decrease in the EMR
rating which has been below 1 for the last 4 of
5 years.
This program includes training
in multiple areas which even extends the requirements
by on-site safety personnel.
